Folklore And Icons.
Most definitely the staple of Christmas folklore is the “Christmas Devil” Krampus who originated in Germany and has ties to the pagan ritual of the winter solstice. The word Krampus is seen to have come from kranken meaning Claw.

There have been multiple iterations of Krampus being portrayed in film with “the Christmas devil” being arguably one of the best. The plot follows A local policeman with mass trauma who is investigates child abductions, whom he believes is Krampus a demon who punishes wicked children…
Another icon of Christmas horror is the cute but violent gremlins from the eponymous 90s classic. A small creature if neglected will turn for the worst. Standing alone as a beloved Christmas classic which doesn’t rely one cringy love stories, forced comedy and cliches of happy families.
THE FANS WANT BLOOD. Damien Leones latest iteration reboots the fear inducing Xmas movie in such a way its still being seen as a shock pushing some barriers we “don’t cross”..
