The expelled Reform MP Rupert Lowe (pictured above) is launching a new political party.

The representative for Great Yarmouth has formally registered the group called Great Yarmouth First.

He said the party was “designed solely to promote the interests of the Great Yarmouth constituency and its residents”.

He also vowed to pay the membership fee for the first 500 membership sign-ups with its inaugural conference being arranged for early next year.

According to the new party’s website, the organisation exists to “put local people first…defend local jobs and services” and “stand up for pride and place”.

“I am delighted to formally endorse Great Yarmouth First, and will happily campaign alongside the brave men and woman who are going to fight for our community”, added Mr. Lowe.

The move comes ahead of the English local elections in May, and nine months after his suspension by Nigel Farage with Lowe being reported to the police by Reform Chairman Zia Yusuf for an alleged assault.

The Crown Prosecution Service decided not to press charges and Lowe denies any wrongdoing.

The two had previously clashed when he publicly claimed that Mr. Farage had a “messiah complex” and later claimed that he was “running a cult”. Farage hit back calling Lowe “completely wrong”.

Rupert Lowe, businessman and former chairman of South Hampton Football club, has found common cause with the world’s most famous far-right provocateur Elon Musk.

Musk claimed that Mr. Farage “didn’t have what it takes” to lead Reform and that the party, which is leading in the latest polls, “needs a new leader”. This came hours after Farage described Musk as “a Hero”.

The rift came after Farage refused to let Tommy Robinson into the fold of Reform.

Lowe attracted widespread ridicule in the recent past when he posted a picture of what appeared to be a migrant dinghy when it was in fact charity rowers on X.
