This month we will see the long-awaited return of the famous British duo Wallace and Gromit with the new movie Vengeance Most Fowl.

The film will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on the Christmas Day and you will be able to watch other Wallace & Gromit films on the iPlayer throughout the month. The last time this pair dawned our screens was back in 2008, but this film will focus on an old enemy of the pair when we see the return of the infamous Feathers McGraw – the evil penguin from Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong trousers which came out 31 years ago in 1993.

This film sees Gromit becoming rather concerned with Wallace becoming too over dependent on his inventions and his concerns only grow when Wallace creates a smart gnome that seems to develop a mind for itself. Things take another twist when an old enemy Escapes the zoo who may be the mastermind behind the Gnome, and it could put an end to the two forever.

Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers is where we first see evil mastermind Feathers McGraw when he rents the bedroom at the Wallace and Gromit residence and things again quickly turn sinister. Only Gromit realises this and despite trying to warn Wallace who would not listen and in famous Wallace Fashion he invents mechanical trousers that would be able to take Gromit for walks and such. Feathers takes a keen interest in these and secretly takes control of them with a device of his own and he forces Wallace into them and uses him to try steal a big diamond; but thanks to the brave Gromit, he saves the day and feathers is eventually caught and taken to the zoo (prison).

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowls premiers on BBC1 at 6.10pm on Christmas Day.
