Gigantic Anti-Racism Protest Swallows Masked Group in Glasgow

Today, thousands of protestors flooded Buchanan Street, mere days after racist attacks struck the city centre following a critical knife attack in Belfast.

A mask-wearing counter-group garbed in black also arrived. The group, separated by a barrier, clashed with the police and caused significant disruption, launching cans into the crowd. They are believed to be from the far-right.

Members of the group donned Israeli and Union Jack flags, as well as a flag with the slogan “stop the boats.”

However, they were largely outnumbered, as pro-immigration protestors chanted, “No Scotland, no Nazi” and “show your face.”

According to BBC News, Police Scotland will be investigating several reported hate crimes from today, and several were issued city centre dispersal orders.

Protestors remained hopeful and stood by their decision to attend. Here is what they had to say:
