This Glasgow couple had their wedding photos taken on the subway

The Glasgow subway has been used as a location for a wedding photo shoot.

On the evening of Saturday the 12th of October, a newlywed couple surprised fellow passengers as they did a whole photo shoot on both the subway platform and on the trains themselves. Complete with two photographers, Suzanne and Andy Robertson were the centre of attention for those making the commute on the inner circle. With the new trains less than a year old, the subway made for the perfect backdrop to the photographs.

Asked why they decided to shoot on the subway, the couple said that there was no significance, apart from it being close to the venue and a way to avoid the Scottish weather.

A TikTok of the occasion has been posted online:

Within the TikTok, the couple can be seen posing at Bridge Street subway station, including kissing just as the subway approaches. Whilst they also took many photos inside the subway train itself, unfortunately the TikTok does not include videos from inside the train.

Both newlyweds agree that it is definitely a unique way to celebrate their marriage.
