Donald Trump arrived in the UK on Tuesday evening with the intention of meeting the Royals for tea on Wednesday afternoon. There was also business to be dealt with regarding a largely summed technical deal involving tariffs on steel exports between the US and UK.

Mere minutes after Trump’s arrival to the UK, images were plastered to scale onto Windsor Castle through a projection of himself alongside late friend and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The controversial projections lasted nine minutes and also included pictures of Epstein next to accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, and the US president’s mugshot.

A large fabric copy of the same photo of old pals Epstein and Trump was also displayed on Windsor Castle.

Four middle aged men have now been arrested and bailed in relation to the Windsor Castle projections.

The political campaign group Led by Donkeys said the stunt was a peaceful protest and say the arrests are a “ridiculous over-reaction”.

The projection of these images in response to Trump’s visit to the UK has sparked further action to voice disapproval and defiance in hosting the US president, with a large protest being held in London currently.

A poll with students at Glasgow Clyde College’s Cardonald campus showed the majority of students disagreed with the second state visit adding that the US President should not be welcomed in the UK.
