Farewell to the Heavyweights

Netflix classics such as Dexter leaving as licenses expire, calling for the question of if Netflix can produce content at that Caliber that’ll keep audiences.
With shows like Dexter being added last year and infamous Breaking bad being available for 12 years.
However, the domino effect has begun as the streaming rights are expiring, with Dexter in July 2025, and BB in early 2027.
Droppage of popular shows while still being on other platforms, with continued price increases, poses the question if Netflix can still provide top quality content.
The Price of a Binge

Netflix hikes up prices again this year, with multiple places globally facing these changes
Early this year, Netflix upped UK prices by 18% across its tiers, last time it had price increases was in October 2023.
Netflix’s justification was to “continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members”.
While saying they will provide more value, they have axed its basic plan this year, making it more expensive to enjoy content without ads.
Places like Australia and Poland are also facing similar prices hikes, going up by 2% from already upped prices.
